Random thinkings this evening.

Good and bad terminology today.
Bad: "suffering from infertility." "battling infertility." "struggle with infertility."
Pbbbt. Those words say it all, direct quotes from an online forum. Plus, it annoys me when people say that. Like it's some sort of disease, and the cure is adoption. Or those people who *finally* decide to adopt, as their last option. I guess I'm an adoption snob!
We've been asked to speak at an adoption information meeting at the end of September in our area. Our agency is co-sponsoring the meeting, and they ask people who have adopted within the last 12 months. We had wanted to do this, so we're pretty excited.

Good terminology: "we'd be happy to have Roman join us for the full days next week." This from the daycare, when I called to see if there was room for him to go next week. Not, "sure, he can stay" or "yeah, we've got room." "we'd be happy to have him join us." And that's why I like this daycare.
