-----------------------------------
Remind me not to start a Monday this busy again. Went to the library this morning first thing, had to be there a little before 9am. Which meant our relaxing take-it-easy morning didn't happen. We signed up for the "Lapsit" program that starts next week for 6 weeks. It's a half hour of fingerplay, rhymes, board books, dancing and music. For kids aged 12-17 months, so all the kids will be around Roman's age, which is nice. Our friends Jack and Kelly signed up too, which I feel strange about - it will be nice to be with them, but I really was hoping to meet more people, too. Not that I can't, but you know... just the idea that I already know people there, it's like flirting with other guys while your boyfriend is there. Just strange. :)

Anyway, then I thought we could hang out at the library for awhile and see what the children's section was like, since this was my first time there. Boy, was it crazy! Toddlers everywhere. Playing puzzles, grabbing books, looking at the fish in the fishtank; it wasn't calming or quiet at all! Roman got all worked up too, cried because I wouldn't let him out of the stroller. It was just way too crowded. So I did check out a couple videos, thought we'd try the ol' Singalong Songs. I actually own one, which I forgot I had. Also checked out a "Blue's Clues" but Roman really just wants to watch his original video; even when he's watching "Classic Steve", he turns to us and asks for "Boo?" Because it's not the Blue video that HE knows.

So after that we went to Kelly and Jack's house, and played with Jack for about 45 minutes. Then off to home to gather our stuff, off to daycare... I went to work, then staff meeting, and left that early to make it to my grad class... just run, run, run today! Grad class will be okay. Lots of little assignments, 1-2 pages each. Due Oct and November, spread out. One big paper at the end, due right after Thanksgiving. But the presentation on the paper is before Thanksgiving. Figure that out. Harumph. BUT, on the plus side; one of the example topics the dr. used was if a district is trying to pass a bond issue - and just what is my district trying to do on September 28? Pass a bond! So at least my subject is already chosen for me. Just gotta do the checking out of the issue and research.
