Many have asked what Roman is saying now. So here's a list, at "almost 16 months". These are words that he uses with recognition:

Boo (as in "Blue", for Blues Clues)
mama
dada
keys
kitty
octopus (ock-puh-puh)
uh-oh
da (yes)
pop-up
more ("mo")
kee (cookie)
da? (what's that? can I have that?)
Ooooh

He can make the following sounds:
monkey (ooh ooh, aah aah)
elephant (oooh with arm held like a trunk)
lion/tiger/dog (all the same grunt)
cat (attempted a "mahw" today)

He can point to the following:
head
hair
ears
tummy
knees (I think)

He can follow 1 and some 2 step directions.
He shows us where he wants to go by pointing and/or taking our hand and guiding us.
