Working on: getting better

I am just getting over a regular ol' cold. Sore throat Friday night, scratchy throat Saturday with runny nose, stuffed face on Sunday. Today only mostly a headache and nose issues.
However, Roman has contracted his first daycare virus; hand, foot, & mouth disease. It's pretty nasty and totally untreatable. He is contagious the whole time he has it (7-10 days) plus a few days after. His bottom has broken out in red pimple-like blisters, which we have read will break and crust over before they heal. Great. They don't seem to be bothering him right now; and he doesn't have any blisters where they usually are (that would be the hand, foot, & mouth part). So I suppose that's good.
Otherwise, he celebrated his first mini-Christmas this past weekend. We visited some friends for an afternoon of eating and opening presents. He didn't know what to do at first, but he soon figured out how to pull the paper open!
