Just a quick potty update. Got the new potty seat today. Roman was very excited, talked all about it. Pulled it out of the box. Looked at it, dropped it on the floor, and wandered away. I called him back to see it on the toilet. He got this frozen look on his face, and when I asked him if he wanted to sit on the potty, he said a very emphatic "NO."

When Doug got home, we all went to admire the new potty again. Roman was excited to show Daddy at first, but then started whimpering. Doug put him on the seat (fully clothed) and Roman just threw his head back and cried! So Doug put him on his knee and we sat on the edge of the tub, all three of us, admiring and talking about the potty seat. Then we had dinner.

Makes you all want to have kids, doesn't it? :)
