Lost our first meet tonight, 135 to 131. Grrr. Made mental notes and certainly would have substituted Casey for Jack in the 400 Free Relay. That probably would have done it for us. Ah, well...

On the plus side, since we ran a "mock meet" on Monday this was the smoothest "first meet" I've been to in 4 years. I actually got to see the first event instead of answering a thousand questions. Anyone who had a question had a *real* one, not a "duh!" one. Everyone showed up, too. What bliss.

I'm doing the lineup for the next meet, and a coach at another middle school has offered to help me set up either a roster-style program in MS Access or to teach me "Meet Manager", which once learned is a dream to operate from what I understand. So my Spring Break has become quickly booked!
