On a CD I burned awhile back for Roman, I threw in "Ring of Fire" and "Tennessee Flat-Top Box" by Johnny Cash. He seems to like "the fire song," as he calls it. We haven't listened to it in quite a few weeks.

Last night I decided to dig Johnny out of the CD rack and listen during dinner. "Man in Black" came on and Roman asked, "what's this name?" I told him the title of the song. He listened for about a minute, then smiled and said "same as Fire song!"

Now is he brilliant, or what?! Our jaws dropped. He remembered the voice of Johnny Cash from a few weeks ago and was able to connect it. Amazing little sponge, his brain.
