It's that time of the year again when our town of approximately 15,000 shoots up to 300,000. In the winter we are the smallest city in the state. In the summer we are the second largest. You do the math....ok, it's A LOT!

Don't get me wrong, I love the summer. I love being able to walk out my front door, cross the street and be on the beach. I love being outside at the Scum Bar (I'll get into that at a later time), swimming in the pool in the back yard and hanging out with my friends on a warm summer night.

I just can't take the drones of idiots that inundate our fair town. And I have to be nice to them. Well, at least the ones coming into the surf shop. But, that just takes us back to the 'ask a stupid question' series, which I will be posting another of REAL soon.

Anyway, I just needed to vent a little before I head off to work. I've made it through this many summers so far, I guess one more isn't going to kill me!
