2006-06-27 6:39 PM A Little Ray of Sunshine I'm still not quite sure how we managed to avoid it, but so far we've only seen a few sprinkles of rain.
The strange thing? 10 - 15 miles North, West and South of here are pretty much under water. It's as if the rain gods smiled upon little old Ocean City and spared us. Thank God! Considering we are AT sea level, and Coastal Hwy. floods when it rains a quarter of an inch, we are EXTREMELY lucky! I feel really sorry for the people all around us (many who I know) who are going crazy with the deluge. Now when was the last time you got to use that word in the literal sense? So, to all my peeps out in Noah's Ark Land, keep your head above water...literally! Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
