2006-08-09 10:43 AM It was a dark and stormy night Ok, so I'm no professional, but I think I did an alright job of catching these lightning strikes. This storm rolled through two nights ago and raged from about 11:30 p.m. til 1 a.m. Torrential downpours and TONS of lightning, but no real damage from anything, thank god!
These were taken looking out my bedroom window, facing West, as it moved in from across the bay. And please remember, IT'S REALLY FREAKING HARD TO CAPTURE LIGHTNING WITH A CAMERA! The first photo is to show how bright the sky was, even when you didn't see a bolt. Most of the pictures I took looking at that spot just came out black, but in this one it looks bright as day. I think the one above and this one are my favorites. Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
