2006-10-25 7:22 PM B-T-T-W Balls-To-The-Wall. Yep, that's how I'm going to be one week from today. I'm going to do it - NaNoWriMo. National Novel Writing Month. 175 / 50,000 word novel in 30 days.
No sweat, right? Heh. We'll see. The way I figure it is like this. I wrote an approximately 95,000 word / 300 page novel in about 2 months, so I'm thinking I can get this done. And that was with a little editing along the way. This is, as the website says, about quantity not quality, at least until you get it written. I have a couple stories and outlines that I've been thinking about, so I've got some ideas to work with. I'll be sure to keep a log on here as to my progress. Has anyone else tried it? If you have, or if you're going to this year, let me know. It would be interesting to find out how others did. And it would also be cool to have someone to keep me motivated along the way. But for the next few days I think I'll do a little reading. God knows I probably won't be doing much while working on my story! Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
