2006-11-22 1:25 PM Ice Capades Last night, since all of the girls that work for us at the surf shop are home for Thanksgiving, we decided to have SAFEDOF2 on Ice (Second Annual Female Employee Day Of Fun 2 - The first second annual was this summer).
There were five girls from the shop and Matt. I have not been ice skating in 14 years. That's almost half my friggin life! Believe it or not, the two sports I was best at were ice skating and skiing - the two you would think I was the worst at. We spun, we skated backwards, we had our 'big' finishes. Now, I'm not saying I never fell. I think we all fell at least once, except for Matt. I actually fell once pretty good on my knee and that's a little sore, and coming out of a spin I lost my footing and jammed my wrist (yes mom, I'm fine and I'm wearing my brace today) and that really hurts. But other than a couple of blisters from the craptacular rental skates, I'm not sore at all. I can't wait til the next time we go. We want to start going every couple of weeks. Won't that be fun? So now, for your viewing pleasure, I present SAFEDOF On Ice Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
