~ I have a laptop. I will officially never get anything productive done ever again.

~ I always thought that if I had a laptop I would spend hours in bed at night writing the great American novel. Do you think if I compiled my 7,000+ (*cringe*) posts on the BB's that it would make something remotely readable?

~ I'm disgusted with school, other than my two art classes. Why do they make me take this other stuff. I should get some sort of pass...I'm well rounded enough thank you very much. Just let me get the fuck on with it already!

~ Ipod album art is the most beautiful and addicting thing to look at since.....well, a certain Greek.

~ Arctic Monkeys - my new favorite band. A little group of British boys that my husband discovered *literally* about 10 minutes (read a few weeks) before they are mentioned on the cover of every music magazine in print. They've already had a #1 single over there. And they aren't even legal. The singer is only 19. I have a video on myspace of them on tv over there....if you want to go look for songs I suggest "When the sun goes down", "Fake Tales Of San Francisco". I think you can listen to the whole album on their MySpace as well. Trying to talk husband into going up to Chicago to see them next week....before they break big.

~ On a similar note, I have decided small club shows are the only way to go. You couldn't pay me to go to any more arena shows at this point. It would have to be something special. The only one I'm still interested in is Springsteen, in a stadium, 100,000 fans all singing the first verse of "Hungry Heart" all by themselves. (yes I have a recording of this and it's the coolest thing ever) It will happen. It's on the top of my list.

~ Dick Cheney is an ass.

~ Ace is no Constantine.

~ Being off my mother's cell phone plan is strangely liberating. I'll take all the freedom I can beg, borrow or steal these days. It's a very in demand commodity.

~ "River" by Joni Mitchell - My current song to cry to.

~ I'm in love with one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen. I'm a lot in lust too. The crazy thing is...that they love me back (and the lust thing too). And I refuse to question how this miracle actually occurred. All I know is it did, and I'm extremely grateful.
