Woodstock's Blog
Books and other stuff I feel like discussing

By education and experience - Accountant with a specialty in taxation. Formerly a CPA (license has lapsed). Masters degree in law of taxation from University of Denver. Now retired. Part time work during baseball season as receptionist & switchboard operator for the Colorado Rockies. This gig feeds my soul in ways I have trouble articulating. One daughter, and four grandchildren. I share the house with two cats; a big goof of a cat called Grinch (named as a joke for his easy going "whatever" disposition); and Lady, a shelter adoptee with a regal bearing and sweet little soprano voice. I would be very bereft if it ever becomes necessary to keep house without a cat.

What Friends Do

Hi, folks, I'm guest blogging. Woodstock has asked me to let you know why she has been, and is going to be, delayed in her postings.

Woodstock needs 'Snoopy'.

Her news is not promising, "Mr W has been admitted to in home hospice care. His cardiac problems are complex and insurmountable." She has no idea how often she will be able to check in. I imagine she will read comments more often than she has the time or energy for making entries of her own in acknowledgment.

She wants you each to know, though, how much your online correspondence means to her. She has not met all of you in person, but your interest in her postings, the readiness of your replies, and the warmth of your friendship she values and is thankful for.

While we await more news, please keep Woodstock and Mr. Woodstock in your prayers, send positive thoughts, or whatever you are comfortable offering.

With my kindest regards,
B.G. Ritts
