Last night, I had the splendid pleasure of being present while Shrub, Angel of Death, purchased his Mechanostrider!!
There are a lot of shots here, but it is a big event that needs documenting. :) You must be at least 40th level to be considered worthy to own a Mechanostrider and it costs 90 GOLD! Trust me, that's a lot.
After taking a moment to defend Ironforge from a Horde attack on the Deep Run Tram, Shrub and Narwynn headed down to Kharanos. There are many Mechanostriders to choose from...
He looked through the different models and was struck by the beauty of a pristine new Unpainted Mechanostrider!
He quickly haggled with the Mechanostrider salesgnome, his excitment getting the better of us all. A huge stack of gold and a few words with the Riding Trainer later and...
He immediately had to take it out for a spin and put it through it's paces.
Hey Mr. Mountaineer! Watch your head!
There was much fun had by all, it was time to party!
Note: Shrub ON his lovely Unpainted Mechanostrider is still only as tall as Narwynn. :)
