Mood: Looking Over the Deep End Read/Post Comments (0) |
2004-05-03 2:00 PM Panic Monday Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.
Probably just a short entry today: I will be going to one of the nearby subdivisions with a student to check on the possibility of adding it to the list of accredited boarding houses. But other than that it's the start of enrollment and adjustment. Already had to approve two students who wanted additional subjects in their load this term. But only one of them was because it was a subject he failed last term (mechanics lab). It seems both the students and the parents are taking the maximum allowable enrolled units to the limit while their tuition fee is still relatively low instead of delaying until their later years to take them. The college faculty also have another major problem: besides still needing an ECE licensee as required by the Commission on Higher Education, Paul, my former student in astronomy who was supposed to teach Accounting, Economics and Statistics for the first term backed out, three weeks before the start of classes. So we are scrounging to look for new faculty. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
