It's Like An A.P.B. Among Teachers of Notorious Student M.O.

Student "edition" found at {csi dot journalspace dot com}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

I would like to interrupt my narrative for a bit to talk about what Dr. DR, the director of the school of engineering, told me recently about a certain student being up to his old tricks.

Dr. DR first had an experience with this student in the previous school year, in the subject of Thermodynamics. Since this subject is somewhat theoretical and only partly about physical representations of equations, there was a part of the topic where he talked about "all the heat in the universe" or some such.

This student raised his hand at that point and asked, "What about parallel universes?"

This teacher has been more personal in his counterattacks against the student than I, sometimes telling the student outright that his suggestions are "impossible" or asking the class afterwards if there are any questions with sense for once.

Anyway, since the teachers talk to each other about their "problem" students, one of my recent stories about this student was the penchant of being excused from a current exam due to "sickness", complete with a sudden stooping over and a quivering voice not evident at the start of the class.

This time he tried in in Dr. DR's Advanced Mechanics Two class (a class he has with sophomores as his classmates, even though he's a junior, because he failed one of the prerequisites and even tried to drop the subject knowing Dr. DR was the teacher).

So one hour into their recent exam, he tried to leave, even going so far as to suggest to the teacher that he will take the exam the next day.

Thankfully, the teacher did not give in to antics, and he had to finish his exam, and even though it wasn't my subject, I'm satisfied.

Session 1367 needs new tricks to fool the old teachers. Class dismissed.
