Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on. Well, the changes to my tentative schedule for the first term has come out that were due to our graduate and board passer being hired and given freshman classes (to prevent bias). I will have computer architecture again this term, which makes me a little more confident about teaching it knowing I got a grade of above 85% in the graduate studies just recently. That also means I will be changing the course outline a little so that it's not going to be a hundred percent programming. And I'm sure the people I failed in that subject last term (due to their total rating of not greater than 40%) will be present again. Besides that, there's also Introduction to Electricity and Magnetism lab, on which I will be implementing the individual lab journal plan already (and not in introduction to robotics as originally planned since it's not mine anymore). Now, if by some miracle Ephraim will still be studying here next term (which means he passed a majority of his subjects instead of a minority) then he will become my student in that subject. Besides the lab journal on which I know he will be getting a low grade (yes, I'm mean, or just looking at a student's consistently bad performance not expecting a miraculous turnabout), I am also planning to give the students (since they have already taken up their computer graphics subjects) a chance to be able to demonstrate those skills by graphing electric fields on the screen based on charge values and two-dimensional coordinates (that's not enough for a technical tag for this entry) but assuredly enough for Ephraim to take the subject very seriously or fail yet again. But then, who knows, maybe I'm just anticipating the worst and the best has already happened and he's already expelled due to low grades this year. After all, I have been good this year, Santa. Session 2131 reserves a special place in my heart for such losers. Class dismissed. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
