Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Surprisingly, Ephraim showed up near the start of the class of Graphics One earlier.

So much so that he was in fact present when I was explaining how the students can make a pentagon using only a drawing compass.

He only approached to ask for clarification once though, and at the same time that my co-teacher was there with his own question.

So his question got shelved, and instead, he went to the neighboring class again to ask about how to proceed. Still, it shows how lacking in attentiveness he is at the start of the class.

The drafting of the faculty and staff sports fest also happened today.

I was surprised when they made it that the captains of the four teams drew lots as to who would pick first, instead of following the reverse order of the teams finishing from the previous school year.

So, I was lucky enough that both times (for the males and the females) I drew number one, and got first pick for both, although since my team is the most numerous from the previous years (that means least number of people whose employment was not continued for one reason or another - including the older sister of a certain student), for the last few employees that were not picked at the start, we were the first not to draw additional players for that round.

It was unfortunate though that the list still was still not complete, meaning there were some people whose names weren't on the list, and others whose names were still there even if they are already not employed for the school year.

Worst of all, there were several for whom we did not know the teams at all, even though they have been around enough that we know they were employed at least the year before, but since they didn't participate in any event last year, we also didn't know what teams they were first assigned to, and neither did they.

Session 2221 wishes that starting this year the team assignments would be remembered for the future sports fests. Class dismissed.
