Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on. Okay, here I'll spill the details about the weekend. Everything was fine while I was in school until around 3pm, except for not having had a proper lunch (only had two pieces of bread from the parents' conference). I passed by an ATM before heading out, and that was where the rains started. I still got on a public utility vehicle to travel the 50 kilometers to Trinoma. It took an hour longer than I expected, at which time I was already a bit apprehensive about my left sole that was acting up. I was still hoping it was just from long ride, but even though I endured the long line at the counter of a fast food joint as well as waiting for a table to free up to buy some medicinal cake, the pain somewhat escalated when I was walking afterwards. I was already contemplating going home instead, but I was found by one of my friends while passing through the foodcourt. Curiously it was the same friend I also saw first when I last was supposed to meet with them, who I just followed to our convergence point, which I was not clear on (the closest you would ever get to this male admitting he was lost). Also curiously, the pain while walking to where the others were. Call it endorphin production or whatever from being excited to find them. But just in case, I had to take a hit of double scooped medicinal ice cream while they were having their dinner, damn their judgment. We took several cabs to a family KTV joint near ABS-CBN next, until around 2am. Then we walked to a nearby congee place, after which the heavy rains started. I was supposed to go to the place of my travel agent cousin just a few streets away, but I decided to go to Justin and Chat's instead. The few minutes walk from EDSA where the others' cab dropped me off was soaked despite my umbrella because of the buffeting winds. Session 2283 might continue this tale tomorrow. Class dismissed.
