Looking In New Directions

Student "edition" found at {thoughts dot com slash typed no space out no space loud slash blog}.

Maybe I shouldn't have started this blog now, not with everything that's been going on.

Will I be able to tell here the reason why there was no post for four days in the ten days that there were supposed to be posts, from March 27 to March 31, not counting the holidays from April 1 to 4?

All I can say was that the message hit home that a solution to being misunderstood and being ignored for possible slams even though no name was mentioned, is to just stop posting statuses all together.

But then, I realized that maybe that should not extend to these non-micro-blogging sites, as here I could be as specific as possible.

When you are limited to 140 characters, yes the likelihood is big that people will think the general rancor is directed at them.

@@ Maybe it is the end of an era. Well I know it is the end of ONE era, but besides the obvious one last discussed here two posts ago, there is also the era of a certain addiction that is being paid for.

Yes, the topic here is internet. Instead of having to pay for the internet, what if the solution is just like that other piece of literal business, and to come up with another shop that offers internet for rent, and thus will be able to get it free along with making a lot of money in the process.

I guess it can be likened to being friends with someone who loves to cook for other people if your passion is food and have an empty wallet.

@@ Here is another end of another era: discovering very touchy friends (as already mentioned in some of the micro-blogging sites before the silence-cannot-be-misconstrued edict) and hanging out a lot with them, and as presented in Grey’s Anatomy (season 5 episode 14, this not being the first time that that show has given me something to write about here or in the student accessible version) there are benefits to putting pressure to the sympathetic nervous system of a person.

Okay. It is a simple hug, but in the past few days when I had not been writing, I will attest to their effectiveness.

@@ On another front, besides these welcome new acquaintances, it is sad to realize that after months, sometimes years, of accepting the quirks of a person as being endearing imperfections, you realize that all that is left are these bad habits, and these annoyances heavily outweigh the likability.

It is a difficult thing to accept, but if one is not a masochist, distancing oneself really is the only solution, especially if attempts to talk it out have failed or have met with all excuses of postponement.

@@ And it seems that it is short topics today, needing to condense the revelations of the past ten days into one post. Will there be expositions in the next few days? We will see; maybe not one by one.

@@ Here is another observation: having holidays where one gets the opportunity to watch TV series in marathon gives a person in a social quandary false hope and bad expectations on how to deal with tenuous relationships.

It has to be remembered that some of these situations come about due to executive decisions of bringing in or replacing actors, or creating a lot of drama to draw in more viewers, for entertainment purposes.

Session 3029 believes that there is still some vagueness here, but not enough to be misread. Class dismissed.
