I'm hoping to settle down and write a real entry later, but I just had to pop over here and post a link to Teresa Nielsen Hayden's marvelous entry on attempts to determine a patron saint for the internet.

And I think she's absolutely right that St. Jerome is a far better choice for a patron saint of editors than St. John Bosco. Not to diss John Bosco or anything.
