Well, I guess that my brain hasn't completely liquefied. I've managed to clean up my office quite a bit today. I disposed of, dealt with, or filed a great deal of the piled up paper on my desk, paid all the outstanding bills (well ahead of schedule, even!), and have taken care of a number of other little fiddly tasks. (I'm really not good at little fiddly tasks. Or at least certain kinds of little fiddly tasks. My managers have frequently told me that I'm "detail oriented", but I think that I'm really not. I'm obsessively geeky about things that I care about. This passes for detail orientedness as long as "things I care about" manages to align reasonably well with my job responsibilities.)

I'm taking a little break, and then I'm going to try to dispose of some old papers that are still sitting in a box from before we moved. I think it's about 90% crap, and 10% important insurance and financial stuff from when I got hired as regular employee. Gotta separate the wheat from the chaff, and file the good stuff.

And the mail just brought another DVD of CSI from Netflix. There will be mayhem and criminal forensics later tonight! (It also brought a credit card offer. Did I mention how much I love my paper shredder?)
