So, I thought I was keeping all on top of the comment spam over on the danielblog. We've had to delete the occasional ad from the comment approval queue, but it's been a quiet trickle, not a flood.

Alas, I wasn't paying nearly close enough attention to the trackbacks. Eeeep. I just cleared out around 80 trackback spams, mostly for online poker sites. I've banned all of the offenders' IP addresses from making trackbacks, but I've no illusions that this will do much to stave off future spam infestations.

There must be some Movable Type plugins to help deal with this. I'll check it out.

On the bright side, I guess this means we've acquired enough googlejuice to be worth spamming. Right on!
