HAPPY belated VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Yesterday was one of my favorite holidays... candy, flowers, and extra loven... Mmmm can’t go wrong with that? Plus, today is my Birthday –so I get a whole weekend of partying! Next weekend (Saturday the 21st) is Miss Lizzy’s Birthday –so our partying here will continue on until then! I should be 20 pounds fatter and 100% sweeter than I have been of late. I’ve been quite the grump bucket lately –but I think the extra sweets should help me out.



Today is also PAUL KANE'S (K-MAN) Birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY K-MAN! Hope you are having a blast and not regretting that added year like I am. No one was kind enough to take the year or the fat for me and let me have the party and the damn cake. No fair!



THANK YOU for the fabulous Shadow-Writer’s #2 BOOK and CARD. I love them! Hope you like your present too.

Well just in time for my Birthday and Lizzy’s –my webby and good friend, Dave Bowlin (Sintrigue), has been working over time at www.brutaldreamer.org and I owe him so much! He’s been through a lot lately with sick family, new job, moving, and hospital runs from one end of the country to the other –but somehow he has managed to work on our new site! I can’t begin to thank him enough. Not even all the GRAPE TOOTSIE POPS in the world could pay him for that! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! Lizzy says thank you too! She’s very excited about her website! (Yeah, I know, you hate Grape Tootsies! What a shame.)

We’ve combined Lizzy’s art and my writing –and created the new BRUTAL DREAMER DOT ORG www.brutaldreamer.org ... within that org we will give Lizzy her own URL (http://lizzy.brutaldreamer.org) for her site. So it is a double the pleasure site for all that want to come and visit with us.

Brutal: Well, Lizzy, how shall we introduce our new dream of a website and bribe people to read and buy my stories and your artwork?

Lizzy: * makes a funny noise *

Brutal: How do you spell that?

Lizzy: H-q-r-nnnn-PP-OAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Brutal: Her spelling leaves a lot to be desired. That's why I'm the writer and she's the artist. The starving artist, that is. Help feed my child, buy her work, gosh darnit.

Lizzy: I resent that, ya know!

Brutal: Well, go draw a picture and take your frustration out on pure, unadulterated paper instead of our visitors. Feel the pain, baby!

Lizzy: Dude! The paper doesn’t feel pain! * Lizzy says this in a hippy tone *

Brutal: How come when I scribe on paper, it sure seems to ooze crimson and howl in pain? Maybe, it’s because I really * am *BRUTAL.

Lizzy: EEEEEEEEK! She scares me! I can’t believe you would hurt poor innocent paper with your BRUTAL words! Evil I tells ye!

Brutal: No more ANIME for you child, it rubs off on you!

Lizzy: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! No, please don’t take away my right as a human being to watch anime! It’s against the law! Don’t you read the constitution? It’s under Amendment… uhmmm…Amendment 808, yeah that’s it.

Brutal: Okay, uhmmm. Sure, sure… 808, huh? What’s amendment: 807? –Back to subject on hand: Why do you feel people should drop by our website, do you believe that it could be due to the fact that I’d bribe them with my delicious Grape Tootsie Pops?

Lizzy: EEEwwww, Grape! Icky poo poo. Amendment 807: The abolishment of all nasty candy such as grape Tootsie Pops, or any other candy related to the grape family. Chocolate Rules, Dude!!

Brutal: Ya know, Lizzy, people are gonna begin to think * I’M * a dude if you keep calling me that. I’m a BRUTAL WOMAN people, not a DUDE! I am a dudette, thank you very much. We could bribe our patrons with some fabulous new fantasy illustrations, by the starved artist each month and perhaps even a new flash fiction piece by this starving author. We’re hungry people, you need to buy our work and feed us. At least drop in and visit us and show you care. Be neighborly, dammit.

Lizzy: Bribe?! My art, a bribe?! NEVER!!! You must pay dearly for my art! Just ask Sintrigue! MWAHAHAHAHAAAA!!

Brutal: Yeah, drop by Sintrigue’s E-zines and see what Miss Lizzy, A.K.A. Agent 22, has provided for the famous SDO Fantasy & SDO Detective E-zines.

Brutal: Hell, while you are at it, you can go into the SDO Fantasy archives and read a story I wrote I wrote called: LIFE FLOW. It’s rather a fanciful but gruesome story or should I say BRUTAL story? It’s one of my favorites. I think my bio there speaks for itself. Ruh-Roh!

Lizzy: Yeah, you can tell, she even mentioned she wrote it twice! * Singing * I wrote, I wrote I WROTE THE STORY SO READ IT FOR GOD’S SAKE! That’s what she’s trying to say.

Brutal: Shhh, Lizzy, don’t give away my subliminal messages. It’s true; I have to plead with you all to read my work. Sad as it is. I’ll bribe you all with some of Lizzy’s sensational artwork! There are several pieces already up on her gallery –but stay tuned, new pieces are going up that will blow your mind! I’ll be sure to post a disclaimer so I can’t be held accountable for the damage she causes when your jaw hits the floor.

Lizzy: Yeah, hope you have good dental plans everybody. Hey! What was that about bribing? DIDN’T YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID BEFORE!!!!

Brutal: Lizzy, * Mom taps Lizzy on the head * duh, your work is posted here in your gallery –no one is forced to buy to look –however, if they want an original –by gosh golly gee whilickers, Batman, they’ll be paying for it! We won’t starve any more.

Lizzy: Yes, pay dearly, Robin, pay dearly.

Brutal: Damnations, Lizzy, you’re not too interested in making a sale are you? Geeez, people can’t afford to even look at your work.

Robin? Damn, you get to be BATMAN (the sexy one) and I get the, uhmmm, WONDERBOY? Shiiiiiiiiiiet. No thanks. Such a generous girl, you are!

Brutal: Well before we get sued for using trademark characters we better close and just invite our unsuspecting fans to our website to browse around! Do we have any of those, fans that is? Well, maybe this website will create some fans for us, ya think?

Got a favorite character and want Lizzy to draw it for you –send her an e-mail lizzy@brutaldreamer.org and tell her what your favorite character is and she will do a fan art image (or if you just have an idea of what you would like to see her draw for fun or for a story/book cover) she’d love to work with you. TERROR TALES #2 Upcoming Release

While I am at it –I want to tell you some incredible news: Terror Tales #2 from RAINFALL PRESS edited by John B Ford and Paul Kane will be releasing around Easter time. My novelette: TIME TO SCARE GRAMMA OUTTA HER SKIN will be featured in this illustrious book! I hear the coverart to this book is KILLER. I can’t wait to post it for you all. (Hint: Picture this: Johnny B and Paul the K-Man as DEMONS?) Now that should be nothing less than brutal.
