Hello Everyone!

Well, as you have guessed -I've not dropped in over here for a while. I've been in the process of writing a longer (short story) actually two of them. I belong to crit groups: SDO 500Club and I have tried to keep up with the story prompts there. I also was welcomed aboard a new crit group: there only 10 members max. and I was invited into this fabulous group!

I've written three of the "word of the week" stories since I joined them. I've critiqued three stories and was up to post my story for crits this past weekend. My story has garnished some OUTSTANDING and HELPFUL critiques. You have no clue how excited I am!

I submitted a flash story to a market, now I can't remember what "Flash" story it was because I once again recouped my computer and lost my databook of subs and I didn't save the latest inputs. Shut up! I know that was stupid! LOL --I don't want to jinx myself so I'll wait to tell you how that goes when I hear back.

I have some other subs roaming around- but once again, I had to recover my computer (don't ask --it will just piss the daylights out of me and only make you laugh at me -as you realize computers have a strong dislike for the Brutal woman!) Anyway, I can't remember what I sent out and to whom. Isn't that brilliant? Well, we'll see who I hear back from! LOL

The main thing is: I AM WRITING again thanks to the sensational crit group I belong to! Thanks guys, you all are awesome to work with -too bad I use up all the blue cyber ink in the edits they have to do on my work! Poor dearies. *snickering*

I've almost finished my complete HARDBACK collection of Stephen King books. I'm waiting for Amazon to get off its fat asses and send me THE RUNNING MAN (library binding -wow) edition. And I have one more arriving off ebay! Other than that, I have just about everything I can get my hands on in hardback.

A friend of mine recommended a book organizer for my computer, THANKS DAVE!!: well, well, well, I had it all set up! Yep, when my computer went to cootie hell -it took my book list with it. I have 600+ books in my library too. I don't think I care to re-setup my book organizer too soon. That took me two days to fix up the first time! *heebies*

I've been in the planting mood! Yep, spring fever has hit me good. I've got 6 trees waiting for me to plant (today), two more lilac bushes, 3 rose bushes, and two flowering bushes! Oh, and not including some more flowers. I've planeted several flowering and climbing plants already -English Ivy and Grape Vine Ivy too. Mmm how pretty those will be! Oh, I should mention -I DO NOT have a green thumb -it's more on the purple side. Bruised and usually resembling the deathly appearance most my plants take on. *sighs* Say a little prayer for these babies and maybe you can save them from my brutal thumb of death.

Well, now on to getting into that planting and then my crit group! Hope you all had a nice evening! It is VERY WINDY here -but it was very pretty outside. Other than cussing the Cubs and Braves game the other day, I had a nice time. (still bitching about that! damn that sucked!) How 'bout them Braves, Dave?
