So, currently no news from the remaining three MFA's. Got put on the alternate list for summer teaching. If I don't hear a yes, I will probably move back to Vegas for the Summer or Fall if I get denied entry into an MFA. I enjoy Flagstaff but I won't be devastated if I don't get to stay here in the summer afterall there is a lack of moisture and plenty of trees. Could be a bad Summer up here. Waiting to hear about my thesis. I know I will have to make changes, but I can always change them back later. The thesis is not for me to get too emotional about. I want it to be good, but I also want it to be done. I want to concentrate on new poetry, maybe put a chapbook out this Summer especially if I am on the Slam Team. If I don't make the slam team, I will concentrate in other areas. Maybe take a break from serious slamming, and focus on trying to get published or into a low residency. Nothing too exciting right now happening despite my mood indicator. I should probably enjoy the downtime because no matter what, I am going to be very busy in a few months either in a new program or searching for a job. |
