Well, I have been waitlisted by UW and LBSU. While glad that I was not rejected outright, I still wonder if the people accepted are that good? Or do they fit the mold. That is probably my ego talking, but still Since there is no certainty, I will probably enroll in the teacher licensure courses in Las Vegas this Summer/Fall so that I have the money to start paying off the loans when the gov't comes a-knockin'. I wonder if I had applied to PhD programs, would I have been accepted. Probably not. Well. It wasn't easy for me after UNLV. I got rejected by Harvard, Iowa, and UNLV. Something has to go right for me. It would be funny, but not unheard of. Janitor with a master's degree. Actually I would suck as a janitor. I would be too slow. Maybe I can be an adjunct at UNLV. Blah! |
