I didn't go out tonight. I met with Babs to go over my thesis. I must say that I hate poetry right now, I want to be 11000 miles away from the word poem. But the advice I am getting from Babs is priceless. I hope to be studying again this fall obviously, but I wonder if anyone could be as supportive as Babs. I need to take a few weeks off. Besides the slams, I just need a break from reading and writing. Don't get me wrong, it's a joy most of the time, but I would love to just be a tourist, or in love... to think about anything but writing for a week. This week I must finish my grading as well. It will be a funky week. But it will be over one way or the other by next Saturday. Ciao. |
