Well... I have my first official Subscriber... his name is Bill Campana He is one of the funniest poets I know. His journal is at http://livejournal.com/user/campana He is a long time member of the Mesa-Essenza slam scene and team and he has written one of the best Elvis poems ever! If you are ever in Mesa, AZ on a Wednesday night... be sure and stop at the Essenza Coffee House and see this man. Tonight I am recording "Titus" on IFC. Anthony Hopkins is one scarey cat! Not a movie to eat while watching. It is pretty gruesome. It focuses more on the gore than Billy's dialogue, but the visuals are haunting. Julie Taymor directed. Also... "The Meaning of Life" is on afterwards. Occasionally they show "Slam" on IFC, so it is worth buying satellite or whatever. I am about to go to sleep... try andy try! You can't keep teaching on 4 hours sleep. Oh well. Did I mention all the schools I am applying to? Well it is my dang journal so I am gonna. Ohio St, Minnesota, Denver, Alaska Anchorage, Alaska Fairbanks, Hawaii, Antioch, Sarah Lawrence, West Virginia, Vermont College, Florida State, Wisconsin Milwaukee, Missouri, Arizona, Kansas, Northern Michigan. That is 16. I am playing the #s Game. I just have to wear a condom just incase I get screwed over. Ahhh... cynicism... it is such a joy to be bitter. Well... Not much else to report here in the land of Neon.
