So... I will probably add a comment doodad to this journal pretty soon, if not now. I havn't been writing much lately... just grading papers... Tonight was Andy Kenyon's 20th Birthday. She is loved by many. People brought her cakes and stuff. She is definitely a genius. Shit... I wish I was 20. I turn 30 on Halloween and I have yet to really experience life. I have a Master's Degree an Adjunct Teaching Job A line from one of my poems and name on a bridge in downtown Las Vegas 2 slam teams one girlfriend... back in 1995 a car 2 cats a few cruises with my family, a brother who is homeless, another who is a lawyer... (no...I do like Lawyers) Tons of CDs, Poetry books, and 300 pounds. A bottle of Mexican Tequila (What Tequila isn't Mexican?) and a butt load of self pity. Loads more papers to grade. Tons of Student Loans to pay 15 applications to Grad Schools to hear about. Current Music: Phish-- Hampton Comes Alive On November 5th, there is a referendum to legalize pot on the Nevada Ballot. If I had a girlfriend right now and was fucking my brains out several times a week... I would n't care... but since I am a lonely miserable fuck... wretched... I want some weed. I am too square to score any on my own... and too much a pussy to risk getting arrested by the Puritan Gestapo... so legalize the mother fucker... out of pity for whackos like me... Keep idiots like me from going nuts... We are the ones who do the Columbines the Texas Towers, the ones that try and impress Jodie Foster by silly NRA endorsed means. Give us weed... and we'll shut up and let you run the country and be filthy rich. Cough cough! That's my toke on this issue. g'night. |
