I am thinking about centering my 102, and my Eng- A course around poetry, pop music lyrics, and current events. Also Red Dwarf, a sci-fi comedy show about a few people stuck in the distant future. Alternate Plot Summaries- Panic Room- Jodie Foster goes into a room and stays there Star Wars- Carrie Fisher wears her hair in a bun, but she is not a librarian. Titanic- Cruise Industry promotes new bargain prices for the lower classes. Lord of the Rings- A few people protect a piece of jewelry from capitalists A beautiful Mind- Russell Crowe Freaks out and not just at a bar. |
