Quizzes Can not be made up Lateness is not tolerated and neither is sleeping, talking, or leaving early. Those doing so will be marked absent, prompt a quiz. Quizzes are not graded for wrong or right but doing them and turning them in on time. Absent or late people will not be allowed to do the quiz. In Class Writing is not graded, although I evaluate your in class writing with a Check, Check Plus, Check Minus or Zero. Simply participating at the time will get full credit. The Zero is only given to those who don't participate at the time due to absence or tardiness. Paper Presentations: Each student will read his or her paper to the class. Failure to be there on the day that you are scheduled will be marked a zero. There are four paper presentations. (5%) Group Work and Peer Review (5%) This segment is also based on your peer reviews for the whole semester, and on group participation |
