The older I get, the more I realize that meekly waiting for things to happen, especially the right and good things of life is a waste of time.

If you want change, if you want something good, you've got to work for it and make it happen.

I never made friends easily. Moving around a lot meant I lost those I did. I certainly don't make friends easily now. So I have to make that happen. Even push it a bit.

I feel like time's a wastin' and I better get moving.

It's a weird feeling compared to my natural state of indolence.

But if I don't move, and don't get moving, I'll miss oportunities in life, and I'm tired of doing that. I've missed enough.
