If you are telling people that I'm saying you're a "nightmare", when I have said no such thing ever, am I now justified in thinking it?

If you blame every tirade on hormones, then I say "It's OK, it's probably the hormones" to support you, and then you tear into me saying it isn't, what should I say instead?

If I see you and talk to you for an entire afternoon and everything is fine, and in the evening you're acting strange and you tell me "of course I'm upset, I've been upset all day", what should I do?
