I've been thinking that the elements of this new Star Wars trilogy might have made 3 good films in someone else's hands, and there were actually broad plot elements that could have been fashioned into a good story. Just by someone else.

It's making me think about, purely as a lark, outlining what the 3 movies should have been about, instead of the turds actually produced.

Heck, if Lucas can continually revise his films ad infinitum, why not us? We couldn't mess it up much worse.
