The worst kind of beautiful sneaks up on you.

It's not a POW lust at first sight thing. It certainly isn't love at first sight.

It's subtle. It starts with what you notice. How you appreciate what they say. How you miss them, even if you don't do anything when you're together.

They slowly worm their way into your subconscious, ensnaring you step by step, look by look, word by word.

You find yourself thinking about them an entirely unhealthy amount.

Then maybe you realize they have a really nice smile.

But they already had you even before that. Like a thief in the night, they already stole a part of you before you even knew you were attracted.

It's terribly cruel and wonderful at the same time.

I'll never forget it.
