Well, house cleaned up relatively, credit cards cancelled, accounts of lost items tallied, good music listened to on CDs, good DVDs watched.

The robbery was a bit of a "straw that broke the camel's back" stress thing; not the event itself that mattered as much as just one more thing piled onto me, but it's over now and I'm feeling a bit better.

I happily realized that at the spur of the moment I had made a cash "donation" to a friend of a dear friend who has no health insurance and was just in a fairly bad motorcycle accident. I wasn't sure if I was going to do it, but the person means a lot to my friend, which makes him important to me too. Some people were putting together a fund to help pay his hospital bills, so I figured I could help out with that by pitching in.

If I hadn't have made it on Friday, it just would have been stolen, so it was a nice coincidence. Makes me wish I had just donated all the cash I had. :)

Better a friend of a friend than an unknown person who's probably looking for drug money.
