I think this is a beautiful picture, no doubt, but I guess people get tired of sharp, properly saturated National Geographic-like nature photos, so they're looking for something different. More graphic and abstract, which I generally don't associate with nature photos.

I still like sharp, properly staturated National Geographic-like nature photos, so this seems a little strange for a winner of Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Still, a neat photo, aside from any of my subjective art ideas.
