The update? There is no update.

I've been sleeping....a lot....and it is weird. Perhaps I'm making up for never getting more than 7 hours of sleep per night since I've been at college. Last night I slept for at least 13 hours. I went to bed at 10:30pm and woke up at quarter to twelve this morning(if you'd call it that). I've been exhausted. I was going to visit the high school since today was their last day on before winter break but then changed my mind. I slept.

Once I woke up I sped in to some clothes and went out to do more Christmas shopping with mom. I didn't buy anything except for an awesome book of crochet patterns that will be perfect for making gifts. I wicked excited, I just need to buy yarn, ribbon and embroidery floss. I don't buy as I prefer to make and I'm a Christmas scrooge.

Wal-Mart during this time of year makes me itchy and kind of nervous. I don't like all the people and the crammed aisles. That would be my type A personality and the whole "paranoid, these would not be good aisles to escape from a predator and all the items are too soft" thought. If my self-defense instructor could see in to my mind I think he'd be proud.

My room is a disaster. Utterly Loey-like already in a week, clothes, crap and dog hair everywhere since Bizzy never leaves my side.

Oh yeah! How could I forget?! I bought myself a Christmas present! It's a sword. It's beautiful. I love it. I have always wanted one. Of course this one is more a display piece and is not battle ready but it's still awesome! It has all these Egyptian symbols on it. I'd say it's a short sword. It's thin and not overly sturdy, more display only but it's STILL A SWORD! I'm kind of obsessed with medieval armor and weaponry. I'm not a fan of guns or pocket knives but everything else I LOVE. I think I'll save up and buy myself a battle ready and functional sword maybe at the end of the semester as a reward for surviving my freshman year of college. EEEE! Yeah.
I would love to learn how to make weapons or armor someday. It would be amazing.
I'm such a Ren Fest geek. I'm such a geek in general. Who compares things to Nazgul? Me. Who gets more excited over swords than clothes and make-up? Me.

Mmm, oh and I'm going to be published in Heavy Glow for the Word Reign thing. Thanks to Rando for encouraging me to submit. I love flash fiction writing, especially word lists with obscure words. This one had the word "piaffe" which automatically makes it an equestrian piece in my mind. It was pretty easy. Still, it's cool that I'll be in Heavy Glow. :-D

Anyhoo I've got to go make some friendship bracelets so my busy-loving hands can be busy.
