Hm. I have been at school a little over a week now but it already feels like longer in both a good and a bad way.

The homework load is already up there and I am trying to implement better time management skills but it is a balancing act. Pretty much from Thursday through Sunday I figure I will be getting my Wednesday/Tuesdays/Monday homework done since those are sem days. It doesn't seem much with the classes I am taking but then you factor in homework and it is like KA-BAM!

I'll manage. I like the pressure. Ooooh yeah. But I will feel like I am earning my grades this semester so I like that as well.

My weekend went nicely. I regained my sanity and had a good time. Saturday I went out with my girls to the city, found a pair of winter boots and some music (because like...whoa! I still buy CDs!!!) and then just wandered the mall and sat people watching on a bench for a few minutes before the vans came. I was complimented on my Ramones skirt three times by random people. They asked me where I got it "Four years ago at Hot Topic." "Oooh....."
It was nice to be off campus.
Later that night we went and watched Hancock. That is still a great movie in my opinion. Super hero movie for adults....even though the end was really strange and cheesy.

Sunday I chatted with Ben most of the time which was nice. I was in a very bubbly lovey dovey cute mode that lasted almost the whole day and apparently won me like....a lot of girlfriend points.
I also found the most perfect song for Ben and I that I remember the Whirligigs singing last semester. After listening to the lyrics I was like "Whoa!!!! This is us!" They even thumb wrestle in the music video. Apparently it made Ben teary eyed....Aww. I don't normally do the "this is our song" thing but seriously....this is our song.

I went and saw my piano professor play and he is pretty darn good I must say. It was just very good.
Afterward I went to Paul's dorm. He made Tina, Deja, Dylan and I spaghetti and sauce and then we watched Iron Man....because really, who watches the Super Bowl? Fer reelz.

That was my weekend in a nut shell.
Oooh I finally sent off Ben's birthday package as well so he should receive it sometime this week which makes me happy because I am looking forward to knowing his reaction to it's contents. I will list the contents after he has received it for chance of him reading this blog.

It is funny how some songs lose their power after you have heard something different. Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls used to major mushify me before I met Ben in person. Now I figure I probably gave up forever to touch him already so that song has less power. I would give up forever....it's overrated anyway. Time limits make you value things more.

Anyhoo here is some end tune-age that I can't stop listening to lately....all semi-mushy. Duh.

Aerosmith- I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing I haven't listened to this in three weeks and now I am like....SQUISH!

Backstreet Boys- I Still I really like the semi-off beginning sound and then of course the natural tones and things and their singing period. Also I realized that the reason I probably had a mad crush on my friend Kyle is because his face kind of look likes Brian's and Brian was my first real celebrity crush. BSB just gets better the older I get.

Coldplay- Til Kingdom Come I find a revival of this band. I like this song.

James Morrison featuring Nelly Furtado- Broken Strings Randomly strayed across this and LOVE IT!!! Have had it in my head all week. I go more for sound than I do lyrics so really I am not feeling this sorrowful. I just really love the song.
