As expected, with the arrival of the computer case today I didn't get much writing done. I spent most of the afternoon and early evening putting the system together and turned it on to make sure nothing blew up (it worked fine). Now I need to wait for the video card to arrive (comes Thursday) before I can test it out and start loading the O/S and other guff.

I still had time for a little reading, so I read a couple of stories from the October 2003 issue of Realms of Fantasy. I'll post my thoughts on that tomorrow.

Progress for day 2 of the short story challenge was practically zero, but I shouldn't have any excuses for not getting stuck into it tomorrow :)
