Now that I'm done with the research for one of my new stories, I sat down today and wrote notes for half a dozen different approaches I could take. Usually I have a story idea in mind first and I sit down and do the actual writing immediately after the research.

This one's a bit different, since I'm hoping to submit it to an anthology (which has a specific theme). Despite the subject matter being fixed, there are still a huge number of possibilities for exploration. At this stage I'm leaning toward two of the ideas I came up with today, but these may not necessarily pan out (so I might go with something else entirely).

What's the executive summary? (if you couldn't divine it from my cryptic babble) : no writing for the past few days, but there are some ideas brewing :)

I'm slowly making my way through Wolves of the Calla, reading small portions between everything else I have on my plate. Things are starting to get interesting, so I expect I'll be doing a lot more reading over the Thanksgiving weekend!
