I finished incorporating the first-reader suggestions for the Zeppelin story today, did some more polishing, and posted it about an hour ago. Fingers crossed on this one :)

Now I have 3 submissions doing the rounds, which is a new record for me, even if it is quite modest. There's no time to rest, however - I've got to come up with a new story idea, work on a collaborative story, and get cracking on the copywriting course!

2004 Stats:

Stories written:1
Total submissions:2
Total acceptances:0
Total rejections:1

The other day I was reading Keith Snyder's journal, where he was talking about tea and recommending some of his favourites from an online store. It sounded interesting, so I ended up placing an order with Harney's for several tins of loose tea, some samples, and a teapot. If nothing else, it should beat using our ball-infuser (which fills the cup with tea-leaves) with Lipton's! After drinking several especially potent cups of coffee while working on the story earlier this week, I've decided that tea is the way to go. I was awake most of that night, my heart was racing when I got up, and I was sick all day (Monday I think that was). It was not pleasant.

Last night I was sifting through ebay auctions as usual, looking to fill gaps in my SF mag collection. I didn't find much of interest, so I decided to check out the auctions on Amazon. Much to my surprise I found a complete run of the rejuvenated Galaxy magazine! (circa 1994-1995) I've only ever seen one or two of these listed on ebay over the past year, so you can bet I snapped those up real quick :) I noticed two other sets of those listed by the same seller, so if you're a collector, you might like to check it out pronto.
