As of today I have completed 100 work units for SETI@Home! Woohoo! This means I get a downloadable certificate stating that fact. I could print it out and frame it, but that would be like framing a mail-order diploma. Nah - I think I'll leave it there :)

For the technically inclined, here are the numbers:

Results Received:100
Total CPU Time:576 hr 17 min
Average CPU Time per work unit:5 hr 45 min 46.6 sec
Average results received per day:4.62
Rank out of 4950348 total users is:898035th place.
The number of users who have this rank: 5188
Completed more work units than 81.754% of users.

I've had both PCs working at it since mid-March, with the desktop PC (2.8GHz) crunching about 4 work units per day (at 4 hrs per unit) in addition to the United Devices Cancer Research project.

For the latter, I've returned 25 results so far and generated 7111 points, for a total CPU time of 12 days 8 hrs 5 mins. This app seems a good deal more CPU intensive than SETI, and it probably doesn't help that it has to share with that, either.

Now the interesting thing will be to see what our next electricity bill looks like...
