Just a short entry today! We had a relaxing weekend and didn't do much. After last weekend's hectic schedule we thought it'd be a good idea to take it easy. We ended up watching some movies and doing a little shopping.

We watched Dirty Harry ("Do you feel lucky, punk?" Classic Eastwood!), The Royal Tenenbaums (I enjoyed this, but it was a bit strange), Stargate (implausible, but entertaining), and The Shawshank Redemption (Excellent! A Stephen King movie that doesn't stink!). I also remembered we watched another Kaufman movie the other day - Human Nature. I wasn't that impressed with it (Being John Malcovich was far better), but it did have a few amusing moments.

I also found time to write another story! It was another one based on the crit group's Weekly Word for last week, and it was about an aging heavy metal band preparing for their last show. I thought it turned out well and I hope at least one editor out there agrees ;)
