Whew! Summer has well and truly arrived. We finally broke down and turned on the air-conditioner the other day, and it has been going pretty much non-stop since. It's times like these that I actually start thinking that winter isn't so bad...

Even more good news on the job-hunt front. I've got an interview! This is on top of the other promising opportunity I briefly mentioned in my last entry. I still need to get the interview scheduled, but it certainly seems like I'd be a good fit for the job. I hope at least one of these things pans out for a change :)

I've been busy for the past week or so learning a new programming language and brushing up on another one, so I haven't had much time for anything else.

About the only writing-related thing I've done lately is working on critiques. I'm really getting antsy that I haven't written any fiction lately, but all the nervous excitement lately is making it extremely difficult for me to sit down and just focus on writing a story.

On top of writing new stuff, I've also got a couple of things I need to finish editing and get sent out. I'll have to try and make time for my writing somehow--it's not going to get any easier if and when I get a job :)
