Here I am, past midnight and I've finally finished editing the story I talked about a few entries back. The ending is noticeably more fiendish, and hopefully now the tension rises steadily rather than jumping up and down as the story progresses.

Ordinarily I'd mention what the story is, but alas I cannot. Secret writer's business, y'see ;)

Meanwhile a forwarded rejection from Talebones landed in our mailbox today (err... yesterday, now). This one had a personal note scratched on it, which is always encouraging. They liked the story, but alas it was not for them at this time. On it goes to the next market!
