Looks like I spoke too soon in my last entry. I did write some notes for the new story and a few pages for another story idea, but didn't end up working on the first one other than coming up with an opening sentence. So much for writing a new story this weekend *sigh*

I felt rather tired and drained all weekend. About the only productive thing I managed was putting together a new bookcase this evening, and fixing the plumbing problem that had been irritating us all week. I'm hoping the arrival of the treadmill this week will have the side effect of making me feel more energetic, as exercise so often does. It'll also complement the weight-lifting nicely.

It wasn't all doom and gloom though--I got quite a few laughs out of the 2nd Transmetropolitan graphic novel collection I'm currently reading. I highly recommend it, as long as you're not offended by highly politically incorrect jokes, crude language, and at times obscene imagery ;)
