Wrote 657 words tonight, which was quite a surprise. I honestly thought I'd struggle to write a measly 100 words, but I guess the Muse had other plans :)

Last night I thought I might continue working on the same scene tonight, in the hope I'd have a completed story at the end of it. The only problem was that it would've been a rather pedestrian tale as originally envisioned.

While I was pondering this morning, an intriguing possibility occurred to me to make the idea more interesting. I scribbled down some quick notes before work, and was able to dive straight into it tonight, without too much trouble.

Not bad for a scene that popped into my head last night when I was wracking my brains for something to write :)
